History of the East jet
East Jet was founded by Aidan Johnston in 2005, the company was founded in Toronto when Air Canada collapsed, the company started off small with most flight in the east of Canada especially around the Maratimes. The company took off after 1 year and was soon competing with west jet in Western Canada. In 2006 the company owned, 18 Boeing 737-300 and 8 767-300 which were used for international flights to Europe. It had 15 BAes and 3 Airbus 300s used for transportation, frieghting is one of East Jets main operations. And it is equal to the amount of comercial flights.
